Established during the year 2000-2001 under the Co-operative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE), which is a Kerala Government undertaking registered under Charitable Societies Act. Besides this college, CAPE is having, four other Engineering Colleges, located at Perumon, Vadakara, Thalassery and Thrikkaripur, and one Medical College at Kochi.
