Meenachil river has now become world famous. Its riffles and the beauty of the waves movements have now reached all corners of the world, thanks to Ms. Arundathy Roy.

Meenachil river has got its Individuality, a cultural history. It also has a story if religious amity and hard toils of thousands of adventurous Agriculturists. The conflicts of nature and humans over the centuries, about the hatred and conflicts on one side and unity and mutual Co-operation on the other side running through the years, co-related with the thrilling history of the leaders of Meenachil all reflected well in "Pala-Ente Gramam". No doubt, it is an asset to social studies of Kerala. {short description of image}
Presentation of "Homage of Hometown" to Rashtrapathy on 22.5.1998 at Raj Bhavan by the Author.
Pala Ente-Gramam is an asset to this history of Meenachil. It is informative and intersting. Also it has been so carefully worded avoiding all chances for any disapproval from any quarters. My congratulations and best wishes to Sri. Thomas Koottyani.

Dear Sri. Thomas,

"Pala-Ente Gramam" has been received. My hearty thanks. You seem to the a poetic and humourous writer, congratulations. I am grateful to you for including my name among the gifted leaders of Meenachil, you have presented me in a very nice way. I wish to say more about the Book. I regret my failing health is not permitting me. I expect more and more of such useful works from your gifted pen.

With regards
C.R. Kesavan Vaidyan.

Dear Friend,

I am sorry I couldn't participate in the "Prakasanam" of the Book, "Pala-Ente Gramam", celebrated at Pala. I have noted the anxious notes in the Book about the present pathetic condition of Meenachil River. Also about the fate of our crash crops. We should rally round for a permanent solution of there two problems so vital to the future of Meenachil. I would assure my wholehearted support in this. My congratulations to Sri. Thomas Koottiyani.
